    FROM CARD: "SMALL SIZE. SMALL SADDLE THROW. PLAIN TAPESTRY, FINE. MADE CA. 1880. HANDSPUN & GERMANTOWN WOOL YARN. HORIZONTAL SALTILLO NESTED DIAMOND IN WHITE, BLUE, YELLOW, GREEN, PALE ORANGE, RED CENTER. ACROSS BOTTOM IS A MEANDER STRIPE IN GREEN & YELLOW. FILLING THE CORNER SPACES ARE STACKED HALVED OFFSET DIAMONDS IN BLUE AND WHITE. THOSE AT TOP ARE CONNECTED BY A NARROW BLUE/WHITE STRIPE. SEWN THROUGH FRINGE ACROSS BOTTOM AND AROUND LOWER CORNERS. JOE BEN WHEAT 22/2/1973"
