Contains recordings of music, oral history interviews, and informal conversations conducted by Levin at various social events such as birthday parties, funerals, and performances. Many of the interviews collected by Levin were recorded from radio broadcasts such as the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC). Featured artists include Louis Armstrong, Barney Bigard, Wild Bill Davison and his wife Anne Stewart Davison, Jane Jarvis, Rosy McHargue, Spud Murphy, and Spiegle Willcox, among others.
