Scope and Contents
Images document oil fields and oil wells primarily in the United States in locations including Oklahoma, Texas, and Pennsylvania. An image of oil wells working with American machinery in Yanangyet, Burma is also found among these materials. Related is a diagrammatic scheme of the oiling system. In addition, there are images of the mine in Hibbing, Minnesota; a coal dumper in Norfolk, Virginia; and the Mollie Gibson Mine in Aspen, Colorado.
