Scope and Contents
Many of the publications are comprised of Gabler's extensive collection of music periodicals. Along with various production records and song lists from the two previous subgroups, the catalogs provide exhaustive inventories of both original and reissue Commodore recording projects.
Many of the series in the collection do contain some publications and news clippings on an item level—usually coming to Gabler as attachments to business correspondence.
This series consists of not only Commodore and Decca, but many other recording companies including Columbia, MCA, Mosaic, and RCA. Catalogs are arranged alphabetically by name of record company, name of catalog, and/or date of publication.
