Subject/Sitter: Man and woman dancing, unidentified
Couple dancing on dance floor; the man wears a military uniform. A group of women stand behind. Band on stage consists of a woman playing double bass, a man playing a trombone, a man clapping his hands with a saxophone on his lap and a man at a piano. No ink on negative. No edge imprint. No Scurlock number. Not marked, but found in envelope with Alexandria Service Club negatives.

When the Museum purchased the collection from the Estate of Robert S. Scurlock, it obtained all rights, including copyright. The earliest photographs in the collection are in the public domain because their term of copyright has expired. The Archives Center will control copyright and the use of the collection for reproduction purposes, which will be handled in accordance with its standard reproduction policy guidelines.
