Scope and Contents
Consists of material documenting Fitzgerald's solo performances as well as programs and announcements for Jazz at the Philharmonic performances with Oscar Peterson and other well-known musicians. Several performances, created by organizations that support and recognize African American music and achievement, include programs by the United Negro Fund and Pioneers of Black Historical Achievement. Most performances are in the United States with a few in London, England; Italy; Australia; Montreal, Canada; Nice, France; Budapest; and Japan. Materials are arranged in chronological order.
