Scope and Contents
The Phantom Servants Gasses vital to the industrial economy. Oxygen used to refine steel in the Basic Oxygen Furnace and, with acetylene gas, used to cut steel. Using carbon dioxide in fire extinguishers, dry ice, and carbonated beverages. Ammonia used for fertilizer. Inert gasses used as propellant and in light bulbs. Propane gas for cooking and heating. Using chlorine in pools to purify water.
