Scope and Contents
Postcard depicting gray-bearded member of the Grand Army of the Republic, postmarked June 3, 1909. Little girl stands on chair to pin medal on him. U.S. Flag and a medal (probably from the Grand Army of the Republic) are shown at left of image. The message side of the card is stamped, postmarked June 3, 1909, and addressed to Mr. H.A. Cook, West Leyden, Mass. The card is No. 158 in Raphael Tuck's "Decoration Day" series.
