Scope and Contents
Gilbert Crazy Bull (Gilbert Tatanka Ganaskia) at right. Crazy Bull wears bustles of ca. 1890, and old porcupine hair roach. The man next left from Crazy Bull, and facing left, is a well known winktcha (berdache) from Pine Ridge. He is famous as a moccasin-maker. At dances he dances the male solo parts. He wears men's clothing, but no elaborate costuming. He is reputedly married to a male, but this may be gossip. -- Information from H. A. Huscher.
