Scope and Contents
Consists of a portions of a manuscript which may have been intended to published as "Report on Indians of the Numa Stock" Contributions to North American Ethnology Vol 4. This report was never published. Twenty-two (22) sections were compiled by Hewitt and subsequent BAE staff. Sections 2 and 3 were removed to a different manuscript collection in the 1950s; Section 22 is a related lecture and was removed at the time of processing in 2025. The remaining sections are:
