Scope and Contents

A tourist map. Includes the city layout in minute detail with names of the districts, streets, and notable places. The latter are depicted in drawings arranged around the map, and these have been annotated with Romanized versions or English translations of the their names. A typescript addition provides the added English title "Osaka in 1887" and a note on Osaka. Printed boxes contain distances of places from the Kōrai-bashi bridge, names of seasonal pleasure resorts, and special products from Osaka.
