Blind Man and Woman Using Braille Machine, 1948. A woman and man are seated next to each other behind a desk. Both of them have a machine in front of them that uses the Braille system of writing. Behind them is a bookcase. Photograph by Constance Stuart Larrabee, 1948.
This series of photographs depicts blind South Africans working in an occupational facility in Johannesburg. They are making baskets, tennis nets, and caning chairs.
There are no prints of this negative in the Constance Stuart Larrabee Collection. EEPA produced an 8x10 study print for reference purposes.
