Transkei Woman With A Pipe, 1947. The woman is holding a pipe in her right hand. She is wearing two cloths: one wrapped around her chest and one draped around her shoulders. In 1947, Constance Staurt Larrabee visited the Transkei. She was there researching the housing problems in Southern Africa.
