Scope and Contents
Ndebele Entrance Area, 1936-1949. This is the front wall that surrounds several homesteads. There is a wooden gate in the middle. In front of the wall are a couple of steps or levels where people sit, sometimes to watch events taking place outside the homestead. All the walls and steps are decorated with painted geometric designs. There are hills and trees in the background. Photograph by Constance Stuart Larrabee, 1936-1949.
There are no prints of this negative in the Constance Stuart Larrabee Collection. EEPA produced an 8x10 study print for reference purposes.
