Ndebele Woman Painting Wall, 1936-1949. A woman is sitting on the ground in front of a low, painted wall with a small blanket on her head. This area is the front wall that surrounds the homestead area. The woman is looking to the left. The walls and steps are decorated with painted geometric designs and motifs of houses and other images. Photograph by Constance Stuart Larrabee, 1936-1949.
