Scope and Contents

Anacostia Neighborhood Museum's fifth anniversary celebration and opening of the exhibit, Evolution of a Community Part 2. Invocation by Father Kenney of Our Lady of Perpetual Help and musical selection by the Anacostia Community Choir. Including speeches by Stanley J. Anderson, Walter E. Fauntroy, Max Robinson from WTOP, James (Jim) Banks, Robert A. Brooks, Reverend James E. Coates, Julian Euell, Richard Jones from ANM's Youth Advisory Council, and Alton Jones. Interviews with celebration attendees about the exhibition, Evolution of a Community Part 2, and the Anacostia Community Museum. One of the interviewees is John Kinard.
