Although the subjects of this image were not identified by White, comparison with other images in the White Collection and with images in the 1902 Class Photograph Album published by Pach Bros. Photographers of New York (there are several copies in the Princeton University Archives) indicates that the subjects were likely Charles McCay Buchanan (left) and Huntington Wolcott Jackson (right).
Original nitrate negative was digitized and transferred to off-site storage at the Library of Congress.
