General

With landscape design by Nelva M. Weber, this property was situated in the area of Litchfield, Connecticut (notes in Molly Adams's hand suggest that it may have been located closer to New Milford than to the town of Litchfield). The main entry to the modernist style house featured striking stonework and interconnected plantings of native High Bush Blueberry, dogwood, Bearberry, pachysandra, and spreading Junipers. A swimming pool at the the rear of the property featured a lengthy stone wall backing a garden border, while specimen trees accented the lawn area between the pool and the house.
Persons associated with the garden include Nelva M. Weber (landscape architect, ca. 1960-1975).
