It is possible that the images associated with this folder actually depict two different gardens. One image shows a small, old farmhouse or cottage with a vine-covered porch. The other image is of a rail fence-enclosed garden of herbs, rhubarb, and other plants beyond which lies an orchard. The precise, professional labeling of the plants in this garden as well as its overall design suggests that it may have been associated with an historical or public garden site; this may also have been the case with the house depicted in the other image. However, without corroborating evidence the exact location of the property or properties remains unknown.
