General

Got Rocks takes its name from the many large boulders unearthed during construction of the house in the late 1960s, which were then laid in a line on the side of the property. The three-acre site includes a wildflower garden and a garden immediately surrounding the house designed by landscape architect William H. Frederick. The wildflower garden features woody plants, peonies, and and other plants grown from seeds brought back by the owner from China and South Korea.
Persons associated with the garden include: William H. Frederick (landscape architect, late 1960s).
