General
Little is known about this garden in a heavily wooded Westchester County setting. The contemporary house featured a balcony extending the entire length of the second floor, with a brick terrace supported by a massive brick retaining wall at one end. Because of the significant slope of the property the main entrance to the house was on the second floor level, and this relatively flat area featured a brick walkway bordered with spring bulbs and shrubs. Additional garden borders and beds were found elsewhere on the site.
