Description
Landscape study showing a view of a mountain range from midway up a steep, lush hillside in the alps of Bavaria, Austria, or Switzerland. In the foreground, a vibrant green grass climbs up the steep slope of a mountain at right, which is partially shaded. This ridge leads to sharp, rocky, and snow-strewn peaks in the background at upper right. The serrated ridge across the valley is entirely enshrouded and seemingly appears as a sheer rock wall. View of the valley at its base is cutoff.
