Description
This Mackinac Bridge Issue stamp commemorates the dedication of the Mackinac Bridge in Michigan. The bridge is one of the longest suspension bridges in the world and spans the Straits of Mackinac to connect the Upper and Lower peninsulas of the state of Michigan. The bridge was designed by engineer David B. Steinman. The stamp features an image of the bridge.
