    Postcard for 1950 World Ski Championships, National Ski Association of America. Downhill skier at center left in red and black with blue and black lines extending upwards, suggesting speed. Image of snowy white and blue mountain behind. Printed in black, red, and blue along the top right and upper right edge: 1950 WORLD SKI CHAMPIONSHIPS U.S.A.; in red, blue, and grey, lower portion: FIS LAKE PLACID / NEW YORK / NORDIC EVENTS / JAN. 30–FEB. 5 / ASPEN / COLORADO / ALPINE EVENTS / FEB. 13–18. Verso has "Post Card" printed in block letters in the center, a vertical line down the center, and a place for a stamp on the right printed in black.
