Sea Urchin Study: Echinometra lucunter
Sea urchins (Echinometra lucunter) in the lab at the Smithsonian’s Bocas del Toro Research Station in Panama. Researchers discovered that low oxygen conditions seemed to effect urchin behavior more than higher temperatures or low pH (ocean acidification).
