Mud Masons of Mali - Replastering Grand Mosque

Mud masons in Djenné, Mali scale a wall on ladders and palm-wood beams annually to re-clay the Grand Mosque. The "Mud Masons of Mali" is a temporary exhibition on display at the Smithsonian's National Museum of Natural History in Washington, D.C., Aug. 31, 2013 through April 2014.
