Giant panda cub, Tai Shan, and his mother, Mei Xiang, moved into their new home at the Fujifilm Giant Panda Habitat, the gateway to Asia Trail at the Smithsonian's National Zoo.

The Fujifilm Giant Panda Habitat and Asia Trail opens to the public on Oct. 17. The new exhibit features seven Asian species--giant pandas, red pandas, sloth bears, clouded leopards, fishing cats, Asian small-clawed otters and Japanese giant salamanders.
