This computer was made in the 1980s by Apple Computer of Cupertino, Calif. Computers transformed how Americans experience daily life. Introduced in 1977, the Apple II series was affordable and commercially successful. It helped usher in the age of personal computing and make the United States the world leader of the computer revolution.
