On view are 23 bronzes and 15 pastels of Mexico's Tarahumara people executed by George Carlson, an artist who spent his career portraying the Indians of western North America. Carlson's work seeks to capture the spirit and culture of the Tarahumara who, although influenced by Western culture, remain distinct and unassimilated.
Previously on view at the Stremmel Galleries, Ltd., Reno, Nevada.
