The process of design is studied through the 1826 Sevres cabinet, an example of fine French craftsmanship. A gift to the King of Naples and the Two Sicilies in 1830 from Charles X of France, it is 6 feet high, filled with 19 drawers to hold valuables, and is covered with hand-painted porcelain plaques.
