This exhibition explores the Rococo style and its continuing revivals up to the present day in multiple fields, including furniture, decorative arts, textiles, and prints and drawings. The museum's first floor is devoted to the examination of 18th-century works displaying the full flowering of Rococo across Europe. The second floor is devoted to exploring Rococo elements in the pre-Revolutionary American Colonies and showcasing later reinterpretations of the Rococo style in a variety of media.
