On view are 90 prints from several Smithsonian museums in an exhibit which traces the development of American printmaking from small engraved works of the 18th century to the large prints of the past 25 years. Artists represented are Milton Avery, George Bellows, Jim Dine, Winslow Homer, William Morris Hunt, Louis Maurer, Peter Pelham, Edward Savage, Frank Stella, and Andy Warhol.
