- a whip scorpion, an animal that depends upon its tactile sense to survive (includes an "interactive box" to allow visitors to test their responses to various stimuli)
- electric fish accompanied by a device to enable visitors to hear the fishes' electrical signals
- fresh-water crayfish
- Haitian cockroaches
- flounder
- radially and bilaterally symmetrical invertebrates
