On view are nearly 90 pieces of pottery made by southeastern Virginia's Powhatan Indians, some of it in traditional styles. Accompanying photographs show artists at work and description of materials and tools. Items on loan are from the Powhatan Cooperative, involving 5 tribes: Chickahominy, Mattaponi, Pamunkey, Rappahannock, and Upper Mattapori.
