Postage Stamp: Chilkat Indian Mask

Displayed is a Chilkat Tlingit Indian mask from Smithsonian collections, which is featured in a new set of stamps in the American Folk Art series. The mask, collected in 1885 in Alaska, is one of four Pacific Northwest Indian totem masks depicted in the set. Also on view are a sheet of the stamps, first-day covers, and a poster.
