On view are selections from more than 100 decks of cards from Western Europe, North America, and Asia in an exhibition that illustrates the variations in suits, the design of numbers and face cards, and the methods and materials used in making cards. Included are standard packs in use in the western world; art and souvenir packs; tarot and Asian cards; and cards of unusual materials such as leather, plastic, aluminum, ivory, and steel.
