See a second group of about 80 photographs taken by itinerant photographers that documents life in the Far Western part of the U.S. in the last half of the 19th century.
Photographs include those of loggers in the woods, railroad crews at work, miners panning for gold, and families posed before log cabins as well as shots of an Oregon flood in 1864 and a 1900s California beach scene.
