On view are 120 prints, including works by Durer, Rembrandt, and Schongauer, in an exhibition organized by 3 institutions that were beneficiaries of donations by Leo Wallerstein and his heirs: the Cooper-Hewitt, the Bell Gallery of Brown University, and the Seattle Art Museum. Frequent European visits between 1919 and 1931 provided Wallerstein with the opportunity to assemble a collection, particularly strong in German and Netherland artists from the 15th to 17th centuries. The exhibition was on view in Seattle and Providence before coming to Cooper-Hewitt.
