See 30 innovative computer-assisted devices designed to aid the disabled. Entries from across the country include a wheelchair control unit that switches on appliances and television games, a language teaching device for severely developmentally handicapped children, and an audible feedback scheme which allows a blind person to use a computer with an audible mouse, among others.
