More Than Land Or Sky: Art from Appalachia

View an exhibition presenting the fine arts of the Appalachian region are 105 paintings, sculptures, drawings, prints and mixed media works by 69 artists. Ranging from the sophisticated works of well-schooled painters to the folk visions of naive artists, the art was created in the 13 Appalachian states—all of West Virginia and portions of Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Maryland, Mississippi, New York, North Carolina, Ohio, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Virginia.
