Approximately 95 of the 174 paintings, sculptures, and drawings given to the NMAA in 1984 by the late Sara Roby of Nantucket, Mass., are on view. The collection surveys contemporary figurative and expressionist art. Artists represented include Isabel Bishop, Charles Burchfield, Paul Cadmus, Stuart Davis, Morris Graves, Nancy Grossman, Edward Hopper, Yasuo Kuniyoshi, Louise Nevelson, Ben Shahn, Mark Tobey, and William Zorach.
