Drawings, vintage photographs, models, and some examples of architectural ornament celebrate the development and design of skyscrapers in New York City in the 1920s and 1930s. Featured are the Empire State, Chanin, Bank of Manhattan and Irving Trust buildings, and the Rockefeller Center complex, as well as a host of lesser-known towers.
