Lewis H. Latimer (1848-1928): The Art of Invention

Latimer, a black man, was an outstanding delineator (artist) and an inventor with the Edison Co. On view are a selection of his patent drawings of inventions, a light bulb and light sockets, which he developed. Also on view is a photograph of Latimer. The drawings are a recent acquisition.
