On view are more than 150 objects relating to the life and career of Bronislava Nijinska (1891-1972), one of ballet's most influential choreographers. The selections, many of which have never been exhibited, are enhanced by rare photographic documentation and Nijinska's personal choreographic notations. Included are original designs for costumes, sets, and decor by Leon Bakst, Alexandra Exter, Natalia Gontcharova, Juan Gris, and Marie Laurencin as well as actual dance costumes.

Organized by the Fine Arts Museum of San Francisco.
