Over 50 designs by Le Corbusier, Calder, Matisse, Miro, and others reflect U.S. post-WWII interests. The exuberant colors, patterns, textures and motifs of these wallpapers represent a visual index to society's domestic values and it's fascination with modern art, European travel, teen culture, the burgeoning suburbs, and science and technology.
