John Henry Belter and the Rococo Revival
March 10, 1981 – May 24, 1981
On display are rare examples of laminated hardwood furniture made by Belter between 1844 and 1863 as well as pieces attributed to him and examples of the work of his contemporaries. A small selection of accessories of the period complements the exhibit.
