In honor of the Cherry Blossom Festival, on view is a selection of some 12 dolls traditionally associated with Girls' and Boys' Day Festivals in Japan. The dolls date from the 18th century to the present, and include a doll named "Miss Japan," presented to the U.S. in 1928 as part of a group of "Doll Messengers of Friendship."
Associated doll furniture is also on view.
