Honor and Glory: Monumental Arches
October 13, 1987 – January 31, 1988
This exhibition, complimenting the exhibition Arches for Galveston, examines the history of monumental arches, and includes some 60 drawings, prints, photographs, rare books, textiles, and models of a variety of arches from the Cooper-Hewitt collection. Visitors enter the exhibitions through a ceremonial arch constructed for the occasion.
