On view is the 70-pound Gossamer Condor developed by Paul MacCready that won the Kremer Prize for Man Powered Flight on August 23, 1977. With Bryan Allen at the controls, it fulfilled the requirements for human-energized flight over a figure-8 course between two points a half mile apart.
