On view is a 22,892.5-carat (12.3 pound) golden yellow topaz—as large as an automobile headlight. The cushion-cut topaz is the world's largest faceted gemstone. The stone was recently cut from a rough, waterworn Brazilian crystal that weighed 26 pounds.
